Access Research Network is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing accessible information on science, technology and society.

We focus on such controversial topics as genetic engineering, euthanasia, computer technology, environmental issues, creation/evolution, fetal tissue research, AIDS, and so on. Through our publications and product offers, we give you the infomation you need to orient yourself in today's scientific and technological world and make informed decisions.
But science and technology are only half the picture. We put science topics in perspective by looking at related political, ethical and philosophical issues--so you can get a well-rounded understanding of the hot issues.
In our articles and publications we cover a host of issues--most of them controversial. Although we never shy away from controversy, we don't let it consume us either. We've mixed a little ancient proverbial wisdom with some common sense to develop the ARN approach to controversial topics.

Boston Pamphlet, The: http://constitution.i2i.org/files/2011/11/Boston-Pamphlet.pdf

Between 1764 and the Declaration of Independence in 1776 Americans produced a rich series of pamphlets and resolutions listing their grievances against the central government of the British Empire. Reading those pamphlets is very helpful in understanding what the Constitution really means. And ignorance of them contributes to common constitutional mistakes.

The Boston Pamphlet was the product of the Boston "committee of correspondence, a group consisting of patriots such as James Otis and Sam Adams. The people of the Town of Boston formally approved the Pamphlet on November 20, 1772, whereupon they sent it to other Massachusetts towns for their consideration and response.

The Boston Pamphlet's statement of natural rights anticipates the statement of natural rights expressed in the Declaration of Independence. The Pamphlet's view of the limits on British power anticipates the balance the Framers struck in the Constitution.

Early Christian Writings: http://www.earlychristianwritings.com/intro.html

The purpose of this web site is to set out all of the Christian writings that are believed to have been written in the first and second centuries, as well as a few selected from the early third. I have also included non-Christian documents that may have special bearing on the study of early Christianity in order to make this web site a comprehensive sourcebook. I have provided links to English translations for all of these documents. When available, the work has also been provided in the original language, usually Greek. I have also provided information and scholarly opinion regarding the background, authorship, dating, and provenance of these documents. These comments are intended to provide an introduction.

I did not want to follow the common scheme of organizing early Christian documents into the canon and apocrypha, which is simply anachronistic. Because it is the most intuitive and useful, I have ordered them based on one possible chronological scheme. My judgments concerning the authenticity and dating of the documents concerned are made in the best tradition of biblical scholarship. Nevertheless, the ordering is almost certainly wrong in some part. To provide some bearings, a range of probable dating is provided for the scheme, but this range of dating can be disputed. All dates are approximate. An alphabetical listing is also provided as an easier way to find a specific text.

Errant Skeptics Research Institute: http://www.errantskeptics.org/

The purpose of this website is to expose these hyper-skeptics, their errant methodologies, erroneous arguments, and amateur sources.

Over the last two decades believers on the Internet have been subjected to many and various specious arguments by hyper-skeptics challenging the central tenets of the Christian Faith, and even going so far as to deny the very existence of Jesus. Their arguments, for the most part, are little more than smoke and mirrors,  which theologians label " pettifogging."
Many well-meaning Christians, out of their love  for the Lord, have gently responded to these individuals attempting to display the reason for the hope that is within them. Rarely have these believers realized they are walking into a diabolically conceived trap. While on the surface the hyper-skeptics appear to be interested in engaging in reasonable debate, such is not their actual intention. Rather, their intention is to subtly lure a believer into a logical trap from which most Christians have difficulty extracting themselves. While the walls of this trap are logically and theologically errant, they are expressed in such a way as to appear sound. The unstated intention of this activity is to convert Christians into atheists, hence atheistic evangelism.

Global Warming Petition Project: http://www.petitionproject.org/index.php

The purpose of the Petition Project is to demonstrate that the claim of "settled science and an overwhelming "consensus in favor of the hypothesis of human-caused global warming and consequent climatological damage is wrong. No such consensus or settled science exists. As indicated by the petition text and signatory list, a very large number of American scientists reject this hypothesis.

Publicists at the United Nations, Mr. Al Gore, and their supporters frequently claim that only a few "skeptics remain “ skeptics who are still unconvinced about the existence of a catastrophic human-caused global warming emergency.
It is evident that 31,487 Americans with university degrees in science “ including 9,029 PhDs, are not "a few." Moreover, from the clear and strong petition statement that they have signed, it is evident that these 31,487 American scientists are not "skeptics.
These scientists are instead convinced that the human-caused global warming hypothesis is without scientific validity and that government action on the basis of this hypothesis would unnecessarily and counterproductively damage both human prosperity and the natural environment of the Earth.

Gulag Bound: http://gulagbound.com/

There is a space that must be filled. It hangs in the distance between what is taken for granted,or believed by convention, and what may be imagined or feared. It is a gap to fill by finding facts and bringing them into true perspective. In American and world politics, this endeavor often challenges conventional worldviews and many shut their minds, unwilling to venture beyond the safe boundaries of the known. The brave, who dare to look, will catch glimpses of disturbing images lurking in dark corners. Those who seek to fill the gap become dangerous to those whose true agenda would otherwise remain comfortably obscured, as they seek and gain power. But freedom of speech exists for a reason.

Gulag Bound follows the lead of those who have won and protected our Sovereignty and our liberty by finding and telling the truth, then devoting ourselves to it.

Since we have the ability to research those laws and create an informative Concealed Carry specific site, we have done so.

Law Enforcement Officers Advocates Council: http://www.advocatescouncil.us/

LEOAC is unlike other organizations law enforcement issues.   We are a multifaceted non-partisan, non-profit organization, which assists law enforcement officers regardless of agency, or union affiliation.   We assist "whistle blowers" in disclosing critical information; aid in providing attorneys to agents who are subjects of questionable prosecutions, or being terminated from their positions; conduct extensive information gathering and analysis, determine case merit; and speak authoritatively on law enforcement issues.   Law enforcement officers being prosecuted or terminated, as well as their counsels have asked us to review cases, but we have never been asked by government counsels outside of Congressional Committees or Members. Such cases include US vs. Robert Rhodes, vs. David Sipe, vs. Ramos and Compean, among others. We support law enforcement agencies, and strive to present both sides of a case, or issue. However, it is not always possible to present such "balance" when the government violates more laws than the officer being terminated or prosecuted as the above cases became quite noted for.

Classical liberal ideas have deep intellectual roots, cultivated by thinkers such as John Locke, Adam Smith, the American Founders, and more recent scholars such as Friedrich Hayek and Milton Friedman. These scholars emphasize the importance of free markets, voluntary exchange, individual rights, and peace.

PJ Media: http://pjmedia.com/

Once upon a time “ 2005 to be specific “ Academy Award Nominee Roger L. Simon got together with Charles Johnson (the blogger behind Little Green Footballs) and Glenn Reynolds (the blogger behind Instapundit) to create a new blog that would shed light on issues important to Americans through insightful reporting, commentary and analysis. The mainstream media tried to dismiss them as disgruntled people blogging in their pajamas. They rejected the evaluation but adopted the name, and Pajamas Media was born.

What began as an online blog site in 2005 has grown into the must-read website you are visiting today. Renamed PJMedia in 2011, this is the place where you will find news delivered in its most insightful form.
PJTV launched at the 2008 Republican National Convention, where it was the first online news organization accorded a full television booth along with the old media networks.
Since then it has evolved into the premier center-right online news and commentary television network, broadcasting over the Internet from its headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. PJTV studios are also located in Washington, DC, New York City, Knoxville, TN & Denver, CO.
Besides covering the political and economic issues of the day, PJTV has been covering the Tea Party movement from its inception. Petriot:  http://www.petriot.com/

Petriot embodies the idea that Americans need to once again stand UNITED, as we did when our country was first born in the American Revolution. We need to rekindle the vision that inspired our Founding Fathers, when in 1776, they declared to the world that America was a sovereign nation. We need to preserve the idea that all of us were born with certain unalienable rights, such as Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. If we are to keep their dream alive, if we are to remain a free people and a sovereign nation upon the Earth, we must stand UNITED. We must support one another, as our nation struggles to regain its economic stability.

Project Appleseed:  http://www.appleseedinfo.org/

Public Secrets: http://pubsecrets.wordpress.com/

Politically, I define myself as a Right-liberal, as opposed to "conservative. Too many times, the words "conservative and "liberal are nothing more than meaningless epithets to be hurled as insults. The US is a liberal nation, the question is what end of the spectrum does one fall on? I believe in judicial restraint, the rule of law, federalism, free markets, a strong military, and an assertive foreign policy unafraid to pursue American interests (democracy, free trade, individual liberty), which I think are good for the world as a whole. Central to SAM's mission is its belief that too much power is now exercised by unaccountable officials”elected and unelected”in Washington, D.C. It is SAM's belief, too, that the national political conversation is framed by a news media whose interests are all too often aligned with those of the officials who wield this power.
The surest and most responsible way to challenge that power is through citizen activism.
